

At The Bay Restaurant, exceptional food is paired with relaxed elegance in a welcoming coastal setting in the heart of Kewstoke, just 10 minutes from Weston-super-Mare. Now serving dinner from 5pm to 9pm every Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday lunch from 12pm to 6:30pm.

Chef Chris Wade-Hayes
Chris Wade-Hayes leads the kitchen at The Bay Restaurant, bringing more than 25 years of experience from some of the UK’s most respected kitchens.
His career has included time at renowned restaurants such as Hawksmoor, Wright Brothers and The Square, working alongside leading chefs including Michel Roux Jr and Mitch Tonks. Throughout his career, Chris has developed a deep respect for quality ingredients, careful preparation and cooking that lets flavours speak for themselves.
At South Sands, Chris and his team focus on thoughtful, seasonal cooking, with dishes prepared on site and inspired by the coast and countryside around us.
